Cannon Beach Library

Annual Events

Fourth of July Used Book Sale
This sale is a Cannon Beach tradition. For several days the Library is filled with thousands of books reflecting everyone’s interests. Come browse the huge selection of mysteries, fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, and even rare and collectible books. Come find your treasurers.

Fall Festival
On the last Saturday in September, the Library offers delicious aromas from delectable baked goods, as well as an array of colorful handmade crafts, all available for sale. All items are created by our dedicated and talented volunteers, and proceeds help fund the Library.

Holiday Tea
Each December, we thank the community and all who have helped us throughout the year. We serve home baked cookies, tea, and cider amid lavish holiday decorations. The tea precedes the City’s annual Lamp Lighting ceremony.

Quilt Drawing
The winner of our annual quilt drawing is selected as part of our Holiday Tea. Library volunteers design and sew a different quilt each year. Tickets are on sale from mid-May through the first week of December. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. You do not have to be present to win.
