Northwest Authors Series: Dana Haynes

Join us for a reading and follow-up discussion with Dana Haynes, the April speaker in our Northwest Authors Series.

Novelist Dana Haynes’ first thriller, Crashers, won the Spotted Owl Award from Friends of Mystery as 2010′s best mystery or thriller written by a Northwest writer.

Crashers was followed by Breaking Point and then Haynes began a new thriller series about Daria Gibron, an ex-Israeli soldier and spy who first appeared in Crashers.

Gun Metal Heart continues Daria’s story as she gets pulled into danger by a colleague who has become the target of a mercenary group called the White Scorpions.

Join us on Saturday April 13 at 2:00 to be the first to hear about his new action thriller published on March 5, 2019:  St. Nicholas Salvage and Wrecking.

Haynes lives in Portland and enjoyed a 20-year journalism career as editor, columnist, and reporter for several Oregon newspapers.  He most recently served as communications director for former Portland Mayor Charlie Hales.  He is also the author of another series under the pen name Conrad Haynes.

This is a free event, open to all to attend.
