Cannon Beach Library

Library Services

*Due to COVID-19 restrictions, some services may not be available*

Our many services include a cheerful and lively children’s room, current bestsellers, special collections centering on the history and natural environment of our region, a wide range of DVDs, Internet access, free WIFI, a book club, the Haystack Rock lecture series and a Northwest Authors’ speakers series. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are now offering access to a wide selection of eBooks.

Our Library is unique because it is owned by the volunteers who run it. We rely on donations and support from community members and visitors, as well as grants from family foundations and the City of Cannon Beach.

The opportunity to get a library card is available to everyone. The full range of Library services is available to our library card holders for $10.00 per year.  Library card applications are available at the front desk, or you can download a Library Card Application and mail it in with a check. Students and children under the age of 17 who reside in the area are eligible for free cards to check out books.

Since 1927, the Cannon Beach Library has provided residents and visitors with a wide range of library services. For more information click on the links below.
