Cannon Beach Library

Annual Events

Fourth of July Used Book Sale
This sale is a Cannon Beach tradition and one of our largest fundraisers of the year. For several days the Library is filled with thousands of books reflecting everyone’s interests. Come browse the huge selection of mysteries, fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, and rare and collectible books. Come support the library and find your treasurers.

Fall Festival
On the last Saturday in September, the Library offers delicious aromas from delectable baked goods, as well as an array of colorful handmade crafts, all available for sale. All items are created by our dedicated and talented volunteers, and proceeds help fund the Library.

Holiday Tea
Each December, we thank the community and all who have helped us throughout the year. Volunteers serve home baked cookies, tea, and cider amid lavish holiday decorations. The tea precedes the City’s annual Lamp Lighting ceremony.

Quilt Drawing
Library volunteers design and sew a different quilt each year, or a vintage quilt is donated. Tickets are on sale through the first week of December and the winner is drawn during our annual Holiday Tea. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. You do not need to be present to win. We will ship anywhere in the world. All proceeds benefit the operations and programs of the library.
