Cannon Beach Reads: Poetry Sharing

The January 20 meeting of Cannon Beach Reads will again be conducted via Zoom. Cannon Beach Reads will start the new year off by doing something different. Instead of discussing a specific book, participants will share a favorite poem with the group.

CB Reads member Lila Wickham suggested an evening of poetry sharing as an antidote to the dreariness of winter and the stresses of life during a difficult time. So consider escaping the cold, dark weather and the constant barrage of news storiesĀ  about vaccine shortages and battling politicians, and participate in an evening of good literature and interesting discussions.

Join CB Reads on Wednesday, January 20, at 7 pm. Share your favorite poem, or just participate in the discussion.

New members are always welcome to Cannon Beach Reads meetings, which will continue to be held on the third Wednesday of every month, via Zoom, until in-person meetings are again possible. If you would like to participate, contact Joe Bernt at
