Elaine Trucke has been the director of the Cannon Beach History Center & Museum for over ten years. With a love of storytelling, Trucke focuses on the unique history of Haystack Rock. Trucke will explore why Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach is  unique, and share some of the crazier stories associated with the rock. The Cannon Beach History Center & Museum is a small non-profit museum located in the heart of Cannon Beach, and home to the town’s namesake cannon.

Friends of Haystack Rock is a nonprofit organization focused on keeping Haystack Rock healthy and thriving. Our mission is to promote the preservation and protection of the intertidal life and birds that inhabit the Marine Garden and Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge at Haystack Rock. We do this in cooperation with Haystack Rock Awareness Program (HRAP) and other partnerships.
