Our many services include a cheerful and lively children’s room, current bestsellers, special collections centering on the history and natural environment of our region, a wide range of DVDs, public access computers, free WIFI, Cannon Beach Reads book club, the Haystack Rock library lecture series, the NW Authors’ speakers series, and a wide selection of eBooks through the Oregon Digital Library Consortium.
Our Library is unique because it is owned by the volunteers who run it. We rely on donations and support from community members and visitors, as well as grants from family foundations and the City of Cannon Beach.
The opportunity to get a library card is available to everyone. The full range of library services is available to our library card holders for only $10.00 per year. You can purchase a library card online, pick up an application at the front desk, or download a Patron Application Form here. Students and children under the age of 17 who reside in the area are eligible for free cards to check out books.
Since 1927, the Cannon Beach Library has provided residents and visitors with a wide range of library services. For more information click on the links below.
