These quilts both feature diamond-shaped pieces and have fabrics from the 1930s to 1940s – possibly 1950s. Both were made into finished quilts in the 1980s, and neither have ever been used. The “Christmas” quilt has dramatic dark green 6-pointed stars interspersed with tumbling blocks – a bit of an optical illusion (72 x 96”). It would generously cover a twin bed and, with the right dust ruffle, perhaps a double bed. The other quilt is a beautiful queen-sized Lone Star quilt (86 x 90”) with vibrant coloring.
Both quilts would also make stunning wall pieces.

Captions are generally visually displayed over the video, which benefits people who are deaf and hard of hearing, and anyone who cannot hear the audio due to noisy environments. Most of our website’s video content includes automated captions. Learn how to turn captioning on and off in YouTube.
