Our next membership meeting is planned for Wednesday, October 5th, 10 a.m. at the library. Meeting hosts Melodie Chenevert and Wanda Meyer-Price will provide light snacks in lieu of the usual brunch.
The speaker will be local author Rainmar Bartl. He will discuss his recently published book, “The Best Thing That Ever Happened to Cannon Beach – Artists & Artisans 1960-1985.” His book chronicles the early art scene in Cannon Beach, including information and photos about artists, their artwork, and art galleries. The meeting is open to the public, and anyone interested in becoming a library member.

Closed captioning provides a transcript for the audio track of a video presentation that is synchronized with the video and audio tracks. Captions are generally visually displayed over the video, which benefits people who are deaf and hard of hearing, and anyone who cannot hear the audio due to noisy environments. Most of our website’s video content includes automated captions. Learn how to turn captioning on and off in YouTube.
