About the Book

Bode boy and children go together like cake and ice cream: toasted marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers: an adventure and a wild imagination. Our Golden Retriever loved children and their parents. In his stories he wants to help families learn to talk to one another about important life-lessons that prepare children to grow up happy and safe

More About the Author

Finley grew up in Richland, Washington. The importance of a strong work ethic, family, religion, music, imagination, education, and fun made up the fabric of his life. After college and seminary, he served as a minister for over forty years, learning the importance of communication along the way. His wife Jennifer and three daughters have done their best to teach him how, he hopes with some success. The Bode stories are an attempt to help parents and young children begin to develop a style of communication that will serve them well over the years to come.
